Ambassador Awards
The ambassador awards were introduced in 2004 for the purpose of promoting the Match-maker. Who better to help promote the Matchmaker than those who have participated in the past! We have set up a point system for the Ambassador Awards; if you are responsible for getting a runner in the 5K, you will get 3 points; a participant in the walk will bring in 1 point. The more points you accumulate, the better your chances of receiving an Ambassador's Award.
Last year our top awards were complimentary nights stays at The Inn of the Four Winds, South Sound Running - 2 pairs of shoes, 2 for 1 Certificates for skiing at White Pass and other Northwest Locations, and a great overnight package from The Oly Club - McMenamins Centralia .
This year we hope to expand the Ambassador's Awards: promote the Matchmaker Run and Walk and chances are that you will receive an award.
